What is a Barn Quilt?

In 1820, the Pennsylvania Dutch displayed barn stars or hex symbols on their barns, which represented a trademark of a particular farm and were signs of good fortune, as well as used for aesthetics.

Today, barn quilts are simply a geometric straight line design that is appealing to its owner. Barn quilts are painted with quality weatherproofing paints on MDO boards. Colours on a barn quilt give another special meaning to the quilts.
